NOIDA:  In a significant development, H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, has been appointed as the Patron of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum. This prestigious position was conferred upon him in a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, reflecting a new chapter in the cultural and diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum will gain new energy and guidance under the leadership of H.E. He also held the position of Ambassador of Malaysia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, concurrently accredited to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Additionally, he has served as the Undersecretary, Finance Division, MFA, and Deputy Chief of Protocol (Privileges and Immunities) in the Protocol and Consular Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

New York, USA:  In a heartfelt ceremony that celebrated extraordinary contributions to global peace and universal spirituality, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of the World Peace Development and Research Foundation, was honored with the prestigious title “Vishwa Shanti Padmam – Lotus of World Peace.” This esteemed recognition was conferred by the Board of Directors of the World Yoga Community during his visit to New York, USA.

The accolade, which signifies the highest appreciation for outstanding service and dedication to human values, was presented to Dr. Marwah in acknowledgment of his relentless efforts in fostering a culture of peace and spirituality worldwide. Born in the picturesque Pahalgam Valley in Kashmir, Ridwana’s early life was idyllic, shaped by her traditional Kashmiri Muslim family. Rabi Art Gallery, Shantiniketan, W.B. a name that is synonymous with quality and innovation in the Indian art scene, is all set to captivate art audiences in Mumbai and beyond with a remarkable art showcase at the Jehangir Art Gallery from 28th May to 3rd June, 2024. This exhibition, which brings together a diverse range of rare artworks by Indian masters ranging from pre-independence to contemporary, presents a great opportunity for collectors and audiences to witness the diversity and complexity of Indian art under one roof.

This show was inaugurated on 28th May 2024 by Padmashree Dr. Prakash Kothari  Art Collector in the presence of  Prabhakar Kolte Eminent Artist, Prashant Kashikar Managing Director at Mika Engineering India Pvt Ltd., Rtn Khuzem Sakharwala , Co Founder Rotary Club of Mumbai Bravehearts, Ajay Mehta Art Collector, Dr. Jayesh Dakre Nueo Sciencetist and Smart future Counselar, Mahendra Kalantri , Director Acclaim Systems India Pvt Ltd.

Modern Indian art remains the proverbial jewel in the crown for art collectors, with a consistent demand for works by masters. However, finding rare and authentic works has always been a challenge. This exhibition is one such platform that has been curated by Sumanta Paul, the Honorary Advisor of Rabi Art Gallery, showcasing only genuine artworks that he has been meticulously collecting over the past 30 years.

In honor of his late father and well-known artist Rabi Paul, Sumanta Paul founded the Rabi Art Gallery in Shantiniketan in 1996. Rabi Paul was a disciple of Ramkinker Baij and Nandalal Bose. He also worked closely with Satyajit Ray. As a visionary and advocate of Indian art, Sumanta planned multiple art shows around the county.  Over the years, Sumanta worked closely with several artists and continued to personally collect their works, building a sizable collection of authentic, rare and remarkable artworks.

This exhibition offers a comprehensive look at two centuries of Indian art practices, encompassing significant trends, artistic interventions, media, and techniques. One can witness the watercolour, tempera, and gouache techniques of the Bengal School incorporated by artists like Ramkinkar Baij, Abanindranath Tagore, Gaganedranath Tagore, Nandlal Bose, Binode Behari Mukherjee, Chittaprosad Bhattacharya, Somnath Hore, Ganesh Pyne, Rabin Mondal, Jamini Roy, and Rabi Paul to the new media and expressions of modern masters and contemporaries like Rabin Mondal, Rabi Paul, Paritosh Sen Nirode Majumdar, Sunil Das, Prokash Karmarkar, Lalu Prasad Shaw, and K. Laxma Goud to veterans like Jogen Chowdhury, Samir Aich, Subrata Gangopadhyay, Sunil Padwal, T. Vaikuntham, and T.V. Santosh.

India’s rich tapestry of spirituality, culture, and tradition has indeed been a wellspring of inspiration for artists throughout history. This exhibition encapsulates the complex artistic practices of Indian art, taking the viewers on a historical tour through the brilliant colours, and gripping narratives and interpretation in diverse mediums.

Actress Sugandha Sharma’s film will soon be shown in the film festival. It is a female-oriented film. Before this, Sugandha has worked in advertisements, music videos and short films. Sugandha Sharma from Ghaziabad is continuously working in Mumbai. Work on her upcoming projects is also going to start soon. Sugandha’s focus right now is more on working in web series, serials and films. She is fond of gardening, listening to old songs and watching films. She also likes to go on spiritual trips, she believes that at such places the concentration of the mind increases and there is a feeling of spiritual peace. She is very impressed by veteran actress Rekha. Sugandha likes Rekha’s films ‘Khoon Bhaari Maang’ and ‘Silsila’. She says that if possible, she would like to revive such characters. Among the serials, she likes ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ and ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’, especially the serials with mother-in-law and daughter-in-law are her favourites.

Sugandha keeps doing workshops to make her acting impressive. She has also acted in theatre and street shows. She likes Bollywood dance. Sugandha Sharma always likes to learn new things. She is very dedicated, hardworking and intelligent. She goes to gym, does yoga, meditation and also takes care of her diet. Sugandha likes to create new satires.

Sugandha has studied cosmetology and is currently studying naturopathy. Along with education, she is also focusing on her acting career. She likes the acting and pairing of actress Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh very much. She is a fan of actor Shahrukh Khan’s films.

Chandigarh – The beauty pageant show ‘Miss North India 2024’ is being organized Chandigarh on June 5. The organizer of this beauty contest is Ram Prasad Sharma.

R.P.Sharma is a garment businessman and has been organizing beauty pageant shows for many years.

He has also organized many beauty shows in Mumbai before this. R.P.Sharma is a resident of Delhi and he has also got full support of his family in this work. Selected participants from more than 25 different cities will participate in the Miss North India 2024 beauty contest. All these participants have been selected through online contest. There will be three rounds inthis beauty contest to be held on June 5, after which the winner will be selected.

The Miss North India 2024 show is being organized under the banner of Mumbai Event Company and My Dream India Foundation. The associates of this beauty show are Puneet Khare of Mayuri Media Works and R.K.Tiwari, of Mumbai Global . The judges of this show are actress and model Mahima Gupta and Jyoti Yadav, Professor Nancy Chauhan, singer Rakesh Kapoor, Shyam Pandey from Fashion Institute.

In the Miss North India 2024 beauty pageant show, the winner will be awarded with a cash prize and a crown. Also, the opportunity to work as a model and actress in Hindi music videos will be given. R.P .Sharma is planning to produce TV serials in the future.

In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1992.

Sunita Kohli has also been a guest lecturer at various prestigious institutions, including Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Innovations, Emory University’s Carlos Museum and Halle Institute, Colorado College, and the National Building Museum in Washington DC.
