A series of prestigious civic ceremonies across New York State honoured His Eminence Prof. Sir Dr. Madhu Krishan—eminent scientist, humanitarian, educator, and global peace advocate—for his outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, scientific advancement, education, international cooperation, environmental sustainability, and global peace.

The official recognition commenced In a  significant recognition, The Hon. Gary R. McCarthy, Mayor of the City of Schenectady, presented an Official Proclamation acknowledging Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan’s remarkable contributions to peace-building, education, humanitarian service, environmental sustainability, disaster management, and the promotion of human rights.

The highlight of the visit came when Mayor Gary R. McCarthy officially proclaimed July 1, 2026, as “The Day of His Eminence Prof. Sir Dr. Madhu Krishan” in the City of Schenectady. The historic proclamation recognizes his extraordinary international achievements and enduring legacy in advancing global peace, scientific excellence, education, humanitarian values, and international friendship.

The proclamation was presented to Dr. Krishan in the Presence of dignitaries, including H.E. Dr. Philip Fields, Secretary of the New York State Assembly – Ways and Means Committee; H.E. Mr. John Mootooveren, Councilman of the City of Schenectady.

In the next  official recognitions commenced at the New York State Assembly, where Assemblyman H.E. Er. Angelo Santabarbara presented Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan with a Citation of Honour in recognition of his decades of international leadership in promoting peace, education, humanitarian development, environmental stewardship, and global collaboration etc. etc.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. Dr. Philip Fields, Secretary of the New York State Assembly – Ways and Means Committee; H.E. Mr. John Mootooveren, Councilman of the City of Schenectady; senior government officials, diplomats, civic leaders, and invited international guests.

During his official visit to Schenectady, the Police Commissioner  Honorable Mr.  Brian Whipple  –  Chief of Police for the City of Schenectady, New York  conferred upon Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan the Prestigious Police Medal of Honour in recognition of his lifelong commitment to humanitarian service and global peace.

Another important ceremony was held in Albany, New York, where Her Excellency Dr. Dorcey Applyrs, Mayor of Albany, participated in an international goodwill programme hosted by The American University USA Inc. (AUGP USA) and The United Nations University for Global Peace Inc. USA (UNUGP USA).

On the occasion, AUGP USA and UNUGP USA honoured Mayor Dr. Dorcey Applyrs with the Human Excellence Golden Award in recognition of her exemplary public leadership, civic service, and commitment to community development.

In return, Mayor Dr. Dorcey Applyrs presented His Eminence Prof. Sir Dr. Madhu Krishan with a Citation of Honour, recognising his exceptional global contributions to peace, education, humanitarian service, scientific advancement, and international cooperation.

Adding to the list of honours, H.E. Gary Hughes, Chairman of the Schenectady County Legislature, presented Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan with an Official Proclamation and Citation of Honour during a special legislative ceremony attended by Councilman Mr. John Mootooveren, members of the Legislature, government officials, and invited dignitaries.

In another event H.E.Mr. Carl Williams  the Hon’ble President of Schenctadey City Council was also honoured with Prestigious Award of Human Excellence Golden Award & Certificate Of Excellence in the Schenctadey  City Hall  in the presence of H E. In another event School Superintendent Of Schenctadey  City Dr.Carlos M. Cotto  Jr. Received Human Excellence Golden Award And Certificate Of Excellence From AUGP USA . The event was graced by  the presence of .H.E. Mr. John Mootooveren , H.E. Dr. Carol Dwarka ,other Faculties of the School .

His Eminence Prof. Sir Dr. Madhu Krishan serves as the Founder and Chairman of the Academy of Universal Global Peace (USA) An IGO ( Inter Governmental Organization ) and Chairman-cum-Chief Rector of The American University USA Inc. (AUGP USA) and The United Nations University for Global Peace Inc. USA (UNUGP USA) – IGO . Through these institutions, he has led numerous international initiatives promoting higher education, scientific research, humanitarian development, environmental awareness, peace education, and global cooperation.

As part of the celebrations marking 250 years of American Independence, a special commemorative programme was also held in New York on July 4, 2026, honouring Native American First Nation leaders and distinguished international dignitaries.

Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan presided over the event as Chief Guest. The gathering was attended by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bigg Up Healing Water, Chief/Prime Minister of the Iroquois Council Autochthon American Nation (ICAAN), along with several respected Native American leaders and representatives from North and South America.

On this occasion, AUGP USA and UNUGP USA presented prestigious Awards, Citations, and Certificates of Recognition to  Both Hon’ble Prime Ministers  H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bigg Up Healing Water, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Adonis Ra’El, and other distinguished personalities the Native Americans for their exceptional contributions to peace, humanitarian service, leadership, and nation-building..

New York State Honours Global Peace Leader His Eminence Prof. Sir Dr. Madhu Krishan With Multiple Prestigious Civic Recognitions

New York, July 7, 2026: An international seminar titled “Establishing Global Peace for Sustainable Development – Role of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals” was held at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, bringing together distinguished diplomats, academicians, faith leaders, peace ambassadors, and international delegates to commemorate the upcoming 250th Anniversary of American Independence and promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The seminar was convened by His Eminence Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan, eminent scientist, Chairman and Chief Rector/Chancellor of The United Nations University for Global Peace USA (UNUGP USA) and The American University USA (AUGP USA). He attended the event as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering on the importance of global peace, quality education, humanitarian service, and international partnerships in achieving sustainable development.

The programme commenced with an invocation by His Grace Archbishop Dr. Joseph Alexander, Christocrat Governor of AUGP and UNUGP USA. In his welcome address, Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan emphasized that collaboration among governments, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, and civil society is essential for building a peaceful and sustainable future.

A special highlight of the event was the presentation of an Official Proclamation and Citation of Honour to Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan by Dr. Bindu Maria Thomas, recognizing his decades of humanitarian service and global contributions toward peace education, intercultural harmony, and sustainable development. The proclamation carried the official seals and signatures of distinguished New York dignitaries, including The Hon. Gary McCarthy, Mayor of the City of Schenectady; The Hon. Gary Hughes, Chairman of the Schenectady County Legislature; and The Hon. Angelo Santabarbara, Member of the New York State Assembly.

The seminar featured a series of keynote presentations focusing on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Carlos Garcia highlighted the significance of public-private partnerships and the role of faith-based organizations in advancing global development initiatives.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Lester Sandres Rápalo delivered an insightful address titled “From Theory to Practice: Advancing Sustainable Development Through Global Partnerships.” Drawing from over 25 years of leadership in higher education, he explained how strategic collaborations have secured more than US$40 million in grants, expanded educational opportunities, and promoted social mobility through sustainable partnerships.

Additional perspectives were shared by H.E. Madelyn Rodriguez, Hispanic Outreach Manager for The Fellowship, who spoke about fostering peace through Christian-Jewish partnerships, humanitarian initiatives, and the Flags of Fellowship programme. H.E. Ambassador Ps. Dr. Varghese George also contributed to the panel discussion on global cooperation and sustainable peace.

Recognition of Nation Builders and Peace Ambassadors

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan honoured distinguished global leaders for their outstanding contributions to education, leadership, humanitarian service, and peacebuilding.

Among those recognised were:

– H.E. Ambassador Dr. Lester Sandres Rápalo, who received the Doctor of History (Honoris Causa) and the Human Excellence Golden Award.

– Dr. Irene Rebecca Delgado, Director of Career Advancement and Immigrant Success Liaison at the City University of New York, Bronx Community College, who was conferred the Doctor of Philosophy in Communication (Honoris Causa) together with the Human Excellence Golden Award.

The seminar concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Carol Dwarka, followed by a benediction from Archbishop Dr. Joseph Alexander, who also introduced his latest publication, “Christocracy: Christ Kingdom Governance on Earth by True Followers,” highlighting the role of ethical and spiritual leadership in building peaceful societies.

डिजिटल स्टार सौरभ शर्मा, राजा भोजपुरिया की ‘जान से प्यारी बहना हमारी’ का ट्रेलर रिलीज ‘होडा भोजपुरी’ पर

भोजपुरी सिनेमा के मशहूर और लोकप्रिय देसी स्टार समर सिंह ने मानसून की दस्तक के साथ ही भोजपुरी संगीत जगत में अपने बिग ब्लास्ट भोजपुरी गाना से बम्पर बरसात शुरू कर दिया है। बता दें कि करोड़ों दिलों पर राज कर रहे समर सिंह ने ट्रेंडिंग सिंगर शिल्पी राज के एक नया धमाकेदार भोजपुरी गाना ‘बदरवा ए धनिया’ अपने फैन्स और ऑडियंस के बीच लेकर आये हैं। ये गाना ‘एसएफसी म्यूजिक’ के ऑफिशियल यूट्यूब चैनल पर रिलीज़ किया गया है, जोकि रिलीज होते ही इंटरनेट पर तहलका मचा दिया है। सावन और बरसात के इस सुहाने मौसम में यह गाना दर्शकों के दिलों पर सीधे दस्तक दे रहा है। बेहद ही खूबसूरत और रोमांटिक गाना के वीडियो में देसी स्टार समर सिंह ने खूबसूरत एक्ट्रेस आस्था सिंह के बारिश में आग लगाने का काम किया है। उनकी ऑन-स्क्रीन केमिस्ट्री इतनी शानदार और सिजलिंग लग रही है कि फैंस इसे बार-बार देखने पर मजबूर हो रहे हैं। गाने के बोल इतने प्यारे हैं कि ये सीधे जुबान पर चढ़ जाते हैं।

एसएफसी म्यूजिक पर प्रस्तुत इस वीडियो सांग में देसी स्टार समर सिंह ने बरसात में भीगकर गजब का परफार्मेंस संगीतप्रेमियों का दिल जीत लिया है। इस गाने के खूबसूरत और दिल को छू लेने वाले बोल गीतकार आलोक यादव ने लिखे हैं, जबकि इसे अपनी बेहतरीन धुनों से संगीतकार अभिराम पांडे ने सजाया है। ​वीडियो का निर्देशन कई सुपरहिट फिल्मों के डायरेक्टर जेम्स पार्कर ने किया है, जिन्होंने गाने के हर एक फ्रेम को बहुत ही खूबसूरती और सलीके से शूट किया है। डीओपी गौरव राय, मनीष, कोरियोग्राफर  गोल्डी जायसवाल, क्रिएटिव हेड एसके आनंद यादव, योगेश मौर्य, एडिटर पप्पू वर्मा, रवि यादव हैं। परिकल्पना समर मोदी, मेकअप दिव्या तिवारी, निशान का है। प्रोडक्शन मैनेजर टीके सिंह (दादा) हैं। डीआई रोहित सिंह ने किया है।
