FRAGMENTS OF SILENCE

The aesthetics of fragments and silence occupy a potent conceptual space in today’s contemporary visual art. fragments operate as aesthetics and conceptual device; they reflect what we perceive and execute. whereas silence here is a space between what is said and what remains unspoken.

Artist today is practicing in various medium and material a group of such artists has joined hands together where they stand common conceptually but differs in the language and material. Each of them has their own poetics of fragments and space, yet they stand with a powerful narrative void and a space inviting spectator to enter the world of personal and collective history. Discussing on silence they call it a space not an emptiness, presence of the unseen silence which is muted by multiple layers of steel plates and arrested in the warmth of paper leaf in the shades of colour and the deliberate pauses between forms. it is not passive it resists withholds and listens.

The desire and capacity to move from the conscious to the mystical is constant and evident in this group’s explorations. Abhishek Chourasiya has straight dialogue between the tradition and modern consciousness he tries to understand the transformation of real and make belief he further clarifies that they both are so genuine that the creator the spectator and the unconcerned are engaged and realizes that it exists. this very existence is then related with his idioms of artwork and then continuum to exist in us. Siddharth Bettajewargi is the one who has distinctly used natural materials as the medium, viewing nature as his mother and prioritizing environmental concerns above all else. he creates and unleashes various form of human figures in the fallen leaf.

This transformation with the paper- mesh and fallen dry leaf is unique leaving behind interaction of speechless emotions characterized in flexible material. Umesh Chandra Nayak’s sculptures work convincingly challenge the formal nature of academic art, they are deeply personal yet universally resonant with exploration of memory, gender and cultural inheritance. The use of layered metal sheets in his sculptures is intended to symbolize different stages of human behavior, consciousness, and silence, evoking voices from stories that are otherwise inaccessible. It acts as vessels of absence, a carrier of silence. Sustaining each evolving phase of this self-awareness determines the individual contribution to humanity.

Vinod Chachere’s fragments in the work appears throughout the compositions not as ruins, but as carriers of memory. Vinod’s canvas becomes an excavation were meaning needs to be assembled attentively from scattered signs. The silence here is visual and quietness that emerges from muted palettes, minimal gestures, and restrained composition yet it is so conceptual. He believes Fragments and space do not diminish truth they deepen it and carries the viewer into an intimate dialogue. Vinay Bagade’s figures are narrative not through explicit storytelling but through gesture, posture and gaze inspired by lived experiences observation and fragmented memories rooted in traditional figurative techniques.

Vinay blends realism with beautification, often depicting static, emotionally distant figures, with decorative elements floating around as if they are residues of memory or psyche. Virendra Chopde displays his skill in portraying beautiful, elegant, simplified forms highlighted with his distinct style.

His paintings emphasize sensitivity of subject and strength of aesthetics, revealing interrelationship of nature and emotion. Chopde’s paintings are the celebratory interpretation of beauty, often featuring dynamic compositions that include flowers particularly “chafa” [Plumeria Flower] which reflect his affinity for nature. His depictions of men, women, flowers, leaf leaves a mark by flat joyous colours and elegant rhythmic lines.

MEDITATIVE ECHOES An Exhibition Of Paintings By Dinesh Kumar Parmar In Jehangir Art Gallery

Timing: 11am to 7pm

Dinesh Kumar Parmar’s artistic oeuvre stands as a vivid visual meditation on inner states of being, spiritual transcendence, and the synesthetic experience of colour, rhythm, and emotional equilibrium. His recent series, as seen in the mixed-media works from Aura and Meditation, reveals a subtle and contemplative visual language where figuration and abstraction coalesce to communicate metaphysical stillness and emotional euphoria.

This show was inaugurated on 12th August 2025 by Honorable Guests Prof. Vishwanath Sable, Dean Govt. College of art and Design, Nagpur,  Nitin Jadia Art Collector, Rajendra Patil(Para) eminent artist, Sanjay Nikam Art Curator among others.

The central figure in meditative posture, rendered in earthy tones and textural overlays, becomes more than a subject—it becomes a metaphor for the eternal rhythm of existence and the serene cadence of spiritual awakening. Parmar’s art invites the viewer into a tranquil realm where silence is audible and time slows into reflection. His use of colour fields and organic textures evokes both natural patterns and inner emotional weather, turning each work into a portal of introspection.

The thematic continuities in his other paintings—such as the juxtaposition of a stag and bottled elements, or a female figure looking upwards to a red triangle—point towards dream logic and symbolic narration. These visual metaphors, grounded in tonal harmony and compositional finesse, suggest cycles of longing, observation, and silent transformation. There is a strong undercurrent of the feminine divine, spiritual ecology, and cosmic alignment running through his visual lexicon.

Onefuture’s Youth Leader From India Calls On Trump-Putin Summit In Alaska To Build A Historic Bridge Of Trust And Peace

India, August 13, 2025: On the eve of the long-awaited Alaska summit between two influential world leaders, the international social organization OneFuture (Israel) issued a call for the United States and Russia to prioritize global peace, stability, and cooperation. On August 12, 2025, Indian youth leader Priyanka Yadav, head of the OneFutureForum Youth Assembly (India), met with OneFuture’s founder and president, Grigorii Pelman, to urge U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to use the upcoming summit as a historic turning point to end conflicts, strengthen trust, and create a foundation for global peace, harmony, and cooperation.

Following their discussions, Yadav and Pelman co-authored an Open Appeal to the two world leaders, calling on them not only to end wars, including the conflict in Ukraine, but also to usher in a new era of trust, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange.

The appeal notes that eighty years ago, the invention of nuclear weapons changed humanity’s fate: the lives of billions now depend on the decisions of nuclear powers’ leaders. This moment made humanity a global socio-political entity, greater than the sum of all nations and peoples, with its own interests and goals. Humanity needs leaders responsible for its destiny. The United States and Russia bear responsibility for the future of all humanity.

The central element of the appeal is a proposal to mark and perpetuate a new era of human prosperity by building a memorial-transport complex—a bridge-tunnel across the Bering Strait, connecting Alaska and Chukotka. This will shorten Europe–America–Asia routes, unlock resources, and point the way to a world without wars. Lighthouse Museums of Earth’s Blue Sky—memorial complexes with domes shining like our sky—may become a symbol of humanity’s unity now and in a multiplanetary future.

This bridge will stand as proof that ideas, shared values, and aspirations for a common future can turn dreams into reality, creating a foundation for harmonious and peaceful human development.

“We, the Imagine Future generation, want to inherit a world free of wars and hunger. Our planet’s blue sky and sun shine for all—let us ensure it remains so through bridges of friendship and cooperation,” said Priyanka Yadav, head of the OneFutureForum Youth Assembly (India), in the joint letter to the presidents.
“India’s message to the world is clear—peace is not an ideal, it is a responsibility. The Alaska summit could be a turning point for humanity’s harmonious future,” she added.

Pelman, who has led the OneFuture initiative for over a decade, emphasized that the Bering Strait bridge project is more than infrastructure; it is a global symbol of trust and peace.

The meeting between Pelman and Yadav follows the Spirit of the Elbe Forum, held on April 15, 2025, by OneFuture in collaboration with the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia and the American University in Moscow, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the 1945 meeting of Red Army and U.S. Army soldiers on the Elbe River in Germany. The forum also discussed the establishment of the American-Russian Initiatives Fund (ARIF). As a priority project, it was proposed to build a memorial-transport complex—a bridge-tunnel across the Bering Strait, connecting Alaska and Chukotka, to open a pathway between America and Eurasia.

In less than 100 days, OneFuture’s proposal proved visionary: U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to meet on August 15, 2025, in Alaska to discuss ending wars and finding paths to humanity’s harmonious development.

History bears witness to the good-neighborly relations of our peoples: from the Alaska Purchase of 1867, which strengthened economic ties, to the alliance during World War II with the meeting on the Elbe in 1945, and the Soyuz-Apollo program of 1975—the first handshake in space. The START treaties (1991–2010), which reduced nuclear arsenals by thousands, showed how trust and partnership ensure global stability.

Yadav and Pelman believe that the upcoming summit could mark the next great chapter in this history—a chapter defined by shared responsibility for humanity’s survival and its future.
“The Spirit of the Elbe united us 80 years ago. Today, we call on you to revive it by building a memorial-transport complex across the Bering Strait as a symbol of unity. President Trump, President Putin, become leaders of the third millennium, embracing responsibility for peace worldwide and the shared future of humanity and Earth,” OneFuture wrote to the presidents.

From Responsibilities To Recognition – The Inspiring Journey Of Mrs. Neena Vijay Gadge

Nagpur, Maharashtra: “Every ending is a new beginning” — Mrs. Neena Vijay Gadge has truly lived this quote. Once burdened by family responsibilities and struggling with depression, she is now a successful Yoga Teacher and Meditation Specialist, inspiring many through her journey.

Bound by responsibilities from both her maternal and marital homes, Neena often had to give up on her aspirations. At a difficult point, she fell into depression. Doctors advised her to practice pranayama, and she joined yoga classes for a few months. It was during this time that her yoga teacher suggested she take formal admission and assist in classes.

Motivated by this, she enrolled in the P.G. Diploma course at Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, despite never having studied Sanskrit or science. Family duties prevented her from attending even a single college day. When the exam timetable was released just 15 days prior, she broke down, feeling she could never be anything beyond a caretaker.

But her daughter, Vaishnavi Gadge—a science merit student—stepped in as her pillar. She simplified the syllabus, taught her, and ensured discipline in her study routine, even limiting her food so she wouldn’t sleep while studying! Neena proudly shares, “Usually parents build their children’s future, but my daughter built mine.”

Her husband, Mr. Vijay Gadge, stood by her at every step, offering unwavering support. Despite criticism from others, she moved forward with determination.

Today, Neena runs the NEENA YOGA & MEDITATION CENTER at Utthan Nagar, Gorewada, Nagpur, where students regularly attend and benefit from her teachings. On 23rd July, she was honored with the Maharashtra Ratna Award in Pune, and later received the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Samman in Delhi.

Her journey proves that with dedication, even the most challenging lives can transform into stories of success and inspiration.

Indian Classical Ace Kathak Dancer NEEHARIKA TUMMALA Her Recent Performance In Manhattan , New York Was Highly Appreciated By Audience & Media

“I began my dance journey in undergrad under Joanna D’Souza, a senior disciple of Pandit Chitresh Das. It was Joanna di, who cultivated my love for Kathak, and developed my form and style.

When I moved to India, Seema Mehta, another disciple of Guruji’s continued to be a bridge for my education and exposed me to another facet of Guruji – his evolution in the last 2 decades. When I moved to New York, I was lucky to have Rachna Nivas, fortuitously relocate from San Francisco to New York, where I was able to build on my prior foundation and study this Gharana’s dynamic style, technique and wisdom.

During this time, I have also received a lot of love from Rukhmani Mehta, who trained me for readiness to be an apprentice dancer in the company, and from Seibi Lee, who transmitted knowledge during the covid years.

No other student in this lineage has been the product of so many elders, who have graciously poured their knowledge into me and have shaped me to become the dancer I am today. I am simply a product of their immense investments into me. With deep gratitude and blessings from the elders in my lineage, I walk into this stage, knowing that I am another link in a beautiful long chain.

Manthan, or in my case, Atma Manthan, is the churning of the self, is what my solo journey was. I had to turn within to understand my unique voice, style and what it is that I wanted to say through this medium.

I started with an invocation to Goddess Ganga, by Adi Sankaracharya, tuned by Jayanta Banerjee to raag Lalit. I sang the invocation because I wanted the audience to experience Lalit and devi, the way I evoked it. The haunting, yet peaceful melody beautifully showcased elements of our traditional rangmanch, re-imagined for Ganga.

I proceeded to Teentaal Thaat, where I slowly opened the raag through poses and improvisation and moved through vilambit, madhya and dhrut compositions. Thaat was deeply supported by Satyaprakash Misra on Tabla, who gave sangati where needed but also gave me ample space to play. The audience specifically spoke about how they loved our upaj and that the thaat was exciting because they didn’t know where it would go next.

My next piece was a traditional gat bhao, the story of Govardhan Giri, where the villagers of Vrindavan seek sharagati from Krishna from Indra’s storm. Gat Bhao immersed me in raag Miyan Malhar, where we created and showed a storm through kathak – the rain, the winds, the thunder. Such is the power of Kathak footwork and imagery.

Next I proceed to a Khamaj Tarana by Ali Akbar Khaan Saab, given to me by Joanna di, who learned it directly from her. It was her choreography that I got to do on stage after many years with more grace and taiyyari.

Finally, in an ode to my mother tongue Telugu, I presented a bhajan by Annamacharya, Brahmam Okate. This song says that all living things have the same supreme consciousness and reality, brahmam is one. A fitting way to end the evening by going back to the ultimately philosophy of the subcontinent.
