Historic Inauguration Of 125th Batch Of AAFT At Marwah Studios Marks A Global Milestone

Noida, 15th July 2025: In a momentous celebration that blended culture, achievement, and global unity, the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) inaugurated its 125th Batch at the iconic Marwah Studios, Noida Film City—setting a world record and establishing a new benchmark in creative education.

The grand function witnessed an overwhelming presence of distinguished international dignitaries, diplomats, and renowned personalities from the Indian film, television, and media fraternity. The vibrant campus was adorned with dazzling decorations, the soulful rhythms of the AAFT Band, and young women in traditional sarees proudly representing Indian heritage. Scouts and guides in uniform added a ceremonial aura to the occasion.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, formally declared the 125th batch open, stating, “We are creating our 10th World Record today. AAFT is the only institution in the world to open its 125th consecutive batch of creative arts trainees. This milestone reaffirms our commitment to excellence and innovation in media education. A global family of over 35,000 alumni is celebrating this historic achievement with renewed pride.”

On this occasion, the World Book of Records, London honored Dr. Sandeep Marwah with a prestigious certificate recognizing this global achievement.

Another proud moment was the release of the book “Sandeep Marwah – The Architect of Aspirations”, a tribute to Dr. Marwah’s phenomenal journey and unmatched contribution to the creative world.

In recognition of their support and association, Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented all dignitaries with Life Memberships of the World Peace Development and Research Foundation, reinforcing a collective commitment toward peace, culture, and global development.

The event concluded with a captivating cultural evening featuring a classical dance recital, a fashion show by AAFT School of Fashion & Design, and a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate this historic feat.

Mumbai, India, July 11, 2025 – The Film Federation of India (FFI), the parent body of all leading film associations in India, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for India’s entry to the Oscars this year. The executive committee of FFI, in its managing committee meeting, has decided to invite films for submission from August 15, 2025, to September 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

The FFI will nominate a Chairman of the Jury, along with senior qualified individuals from the creative field, who will be part of the jury. The final entry will be decided by a vote after all screenings are completed, and the winner will be announced on September 28, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

– Films must be released in India between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025.

– Films must have a minimum run of seven consecutive days in a commercial motion picture theater.

– Content must be 60% in local dialect of any Indian language.

– Proof of release with a minimum one-week run in theaters in India is required.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

– Artist and technician list and synopsis

– Subtitled version in English

– Details of film festival entries or awards received for the film

– Website or page of the film

– Format details will be informed

PAYMENT DETAILS

– Payment of Rs. 1,25,000/- (One Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only) + GST Extra.

IMPORTANT DATES

हनी ट्रैप दरअसल एक ऐसी चाल है, जिसमें किसी को फंसाने के लिए खूबसूरत महिला का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। किसी व्यक्ति के बारे में अंदर की जानकारी निकाल कर उसे किसी खास काम के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है या ब्लैकमेल करके पैसे मांगे जाते हैं. अक्सर लोग मीठी बातों और आकर्षण के जाल में फंस जाते हैं। सामने वाले का विश्वास जीतकर उससे प्राइवेट तस्वीरें, वीडियो या जानकारी प्राप्त कर ली जाती है। इसके बाद ब्लैकमेलिंग करके पैसों की मांग करते है।

सपनों के शहर माया नगरी में हनीट्रैप के द्वारा लोगों की दुखती रग पकड़कर उनसे ब्लैकमेलिंग की जाती है. रमेश गौर का ऐसा ही एक मामला है जो अंत तक इस मामले में पुलिस का सहयोग करते रहे। इसी बीच पुलिस ने एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के हस्तक्षेप के बाद फिर एक एफ़आईआर दर्ज की। वहीं दूसरी ओर फिल्म इंडस्ट्री का एक कैंप इस मामले को इंडस्ट्री के पिछले कई हनीट्रैप के मामलों से जोड़कर देख रहा है। खैर फ़िलहाल मामला पुलिस जाँच में है। हमारे सूत्र व्यवसायी रमेश गौर से संपर्क करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं ताकि इस मामले की बाकी सभी कड़ियों को उजागर किया जा सके।

Writer, producer and lyricist Ratan Vishwakarma (Vansh) has produced a Rajasthani short film Aawagaman on this issue which is now ready for release after passing through the censor. Aravali Cinema (Jamna Kumari Presentation) Short film Aawagaman has been shot in Marwar areas of Rajasthan. Directed by Rakesh Prabhu Rathore, the film stars Ratan Vansh, Priya Chaturvedi, Ramzan Dyer, Manish Nahar, Yash Solanki, Ganesh Kumawat, Dinesh Puri, Jayesh Vaishnav, Thiya and Virendra. The co-producer of the film is Ajay Sagar, music director is Ratan Ravani.

Writer, producer and lyricist Ratan Vishwakarma (Vansh) said that the film Aawagaman will soon be made in Hindi as well. In Aawagaman, outsiders who are addicted to drugs commit such inhumane acts. Another film Azaad Dostiyan has also been made under the banner of Aravali Cinema.

Aawagaman is the story of Ganpat and Kanchan who are husband and wife. They stop for a while to rest on a dirt road but during that time something unfortunate happens to them.
