Noida, India – The prestigious 7th Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Promotion of Art & Culture took place with grandeur and grace during 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024, honoring remarkable contributions to India’s rich cultural heritage. The ceremony, held under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media & Arts and President of ICMEI, marked another milestone in recognizing the nation’s finest artists, musicians, and cultural advocates

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, during his opening remarks, narrated the inception of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Awards, reflecting on his deep association with the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He described how the awards were established eight years ago with the purpose of promoting art and culture in Vajpayee’s name, a man known for his artistic sensibilities, oratory skills, and deep respect for India’s cultural landscape.

Shri Tirath Singh Rawat, Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, graced the occasion and shared a few heartfelt words, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting India’s diverse cultural traditions. He was honored with a Lifetime Membership of the International Film and Television Research Centre, along with a Memento of the Festival in recognition of his support for the arts.

The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of several distinguished individuals who were decorated with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Promotion of Art & Culture:

• Padma Shri Ms. Rita Ganguly, an accomplished dancer, musician, and vocalist, who spoke passionately about her journey and the significance of this award in encouraging artists across disciplines.

Strengthening The Protection Of Sanatan Dharma : A Meeting Of Inspiration And Commitment

Mathura:  In an event of monumental significance, the grand Muhurat ceremony for the much-anticipated feature film “Godan” was conducted in Mathura, with the gracious presence and blessings of respected Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat Ji. The film, based on the classic literary work “Godan” by the esteemed writer Munshi Premchand ji, was launched with divine blessings at this auspicious occasion.

Most respected Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the event by releasing the poster of the film and marked the auspicious moment with a ceremonial clap. To the delight of the gathered audience, a 1.30-minute teaser of the film was unveiled, captivating the imagination of the one lakh-strong crowd in attendance.

“Godan,” under the directorship of renowned Bollywood filmmaker Ashok Tyagi, known for his notable works like “Bharat Bagaya Vidhata,” “Surkhiyan,” and “Return of Jewel Thief,” carries a profound message. The film seeks to inspire a sense of cow protection and instill in the hearts of Indian people a deep respect and sensitivity towards the mother cow. The producers of the film are Vinod Chaudhary and Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida will craft the script and dialogues of the film, while the music will be orchestrated by the talented Riju Roy.

As part of the momentous occasion, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat also inaugurated the Deendayal Cow Science Research and Training Centre, the Weaver Center powered by a biogas generator, and laid the foundation stone of the Ayurveda Mrig (animal) treatment facility.

Distinguished personalities present at the event included Sadhvi Ritambhara, Mangala Mata Ji, senior Shankarlal Ji of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Mahamandaleshwar of all the Peethadhis and saints, and hundreds of MPs and MLAs. Veteran Artist Prakash Bhise Unveils “Spectrum” Exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery

Prakash Bhise, a distinguished alumnus of the renowned JJ School of Art, is set to captivate art enthusiasts with his latest exhibition, “Spectrum,” at the Jehangir Art Gallery. Running from December 5th to the 11th 2023, the showcase promises a visual feast of approximately 48 abstract paintings, marking Bhise’s significant contribution to the world of art over his four-decade-long career.

A veteran Artist and former professor at the Raheja School of Art, Bhise’s artistic journey has been a dynamic exploration of styles, with a transition to abstract art in 2000. His keen awareness of social issues, cultivated through years of activism, finds expression on canvas, making his artwork a commentary on the human experience.

Notable in his repertoire is a painting series inspired by the poetry collection “Golpitha” by renowned poet Namdev Dhasal, earning acclaim for its depth and resonance. Bhise’s artistic prowess extends beyond national borders, with exhibitions in Germany, Holland, and Bangladesh showcasing his talent to an international audience.

The “Spectrum” exhibition is a testament to Bhise’s commitment to pushing artistic boundaries. His abstract paintings, while defying conventional understanding, reflect a two-dimensional quality inspired by India’s traditional miniature painting legacy. Bhise attributes this unique style to the intense sunlight in India, emphasizing lines and shapes on canvas.

Prakash Bhise consider himself fortunate to receive training under the guidance of esteemed professors, including Prof. Sambhaji Kadam, Prof. Vishwanath Solapurkar, Prof. Prabhakar Kolte, Prof. Mrugank Joshi, Prof. Paul Koli, Prof. S K Lagate, Prof. Vasant Sonawane and others during his time at the prestigious JJ School of Art.

Trained under the guidance of Dean Prof. Shankar Palashikar sir at JJ School of Art, Bhise seamlessly navigates between realistic and abstract styles, evoking overwhelming emotional responses from viewers. His command of color, brushwork, and medium creates a captivating drama on canvas, reflecting a nearly four-decade-long artistic journey.

मीडिया में सवाल के जवाब में फिल्म दत्तक पुत्र के निर्देशक प्रमोद शास्त्री ने कहा कि ‘हमारी फिल्म की कहानी अयोध्या की गालियों की है। जब से अयोध्या में विकास तेजी से बढ़ा है वहां की जमीनें बहुत महंगी हो गई है और जमीन की लालच में आकर लोग रिश्ते को भूलते जा रहे हैं। बाबू जी की जमीन लोग जरदस्ती कब्जा करने की कोशिश करते हैं। जो पुत्र बिना पिता का पैर दबाए नहीं सोता है, उस पर पिता की हत्या के इल्जाम में फंसा दिया जाता है। किस तरह से नायक सिद्ध करता है कि जरूरी नहीं खून के ही रिश्ते ही बहुत अच्छे होते हैं। अपने पिता का विश्वास कभी उसके ऊपर से टूटने नहीं देता है।’
