Sandip Soparrkar Dazzles In Banarsi Collection Showcase

Renowned choreographer Sandip Soparrkar stole the limelight at the recent showcase of maverick designer Asif Shaikh’s new “Banarsi collection” in Ahemdabad. The event, held at the esteemed Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial, celebrated the rich tradition of Indian weaving and craftsmanship.

Soparrkar graced the stage along with Her Royal Highness Queen of Vadodara Radhikaraje Geakwad walked adorned in a saree ingeniously draped as a dhoti, a masterpiece that took artisans nearly four months to meticulously craft. The saree, crafted with silk threads intricately woven to perfection, captured the essence of elegance and sophistication.

The choreography for the show was masterfully executed by Supriya Shah, while Lubna Adam directed the event with finesse, ensuring a seamless and captivating experience for the audience.

Asif Shaikh’s “Banarsi collection” not only showcased exquisite designs but also served as a platform to promote the talented weavers of India, highlighting their craftsmanship and artistry on a global stage.

My name is Narinder Sharma, and I am originally from Doda Jammu and Kashmir. I completed my undergraduate studies at Jammu University. I am proud to be a first-generation entrepreneur in my family, leveraging my education and experiences to contribute to the business landscape. I am dedicated to fostering innovation and growth in my professional endeavours.

How did you start your journey as a guy from small village to villa dreams…

“In my second year of studies, a pivotal moment emerged when someone posed the question, ‘Do you want to earn money through the internet?’ It was the year 2015, a time when the concept of earning online was met with skepticism by many. Recognizing this as a unique opportunity, I decided to seize it. My journey commenced with a Jammu-based network marketing company, and for the next six years until 2021, I dedicated myself to this venture.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, I, alongside my partner, embarked on a new chapter in 2021 by founding our own digital company. Today, we proudly operate as a digital agency and own Glitter World PR Agency. Over the span of 2015 to 2024, my journey has been one of relentless dedication and hard work. Undoubtedly, I encountered numerous challenges during these eight years, each of which has contributed to the incredible learning experience that has shaped me both personally and professionally. The path has been arduous, but the journey has been nothing short of amazing.”

Screenwriters’ Association (SWA) Unveils the 5th Edition of the Prestigious SWA Awards 2024, Nominations Now Open

Mumbai, March 13: The Screenwriters’ Association (SWA) proudly announces the commencement of the nomination process for the much-anticipated 5th edition of the SWA Awards 2024. The awards aim to celebrate the brilliance of screenwriters in Indian film, television, lyrics, and the OTT media industry.

A recent survey found that the majority of writers are dissatisfied with the recognition they receive for their contributions. This discontent further extends to their representation in marketing and promotional initiatives, with dissatisfaction rates ranging from 65% to 80% across various types of promotional activities.

The SWA Awards are thus a way of celebrating the unsung heroes behind the scenes and honouring the exceptional craftsmanship of screenwriters. As the only awards show that proudly proclaims, ‘Only for Writers, By the Writers‘, this annual event aims to place the real architects of imagination at the forefront of recognition and appreciation.

In its 5th year, the SWA will span over 20 categories, recognizing everything from Web Adaptations to Television and Feature Films, highlighting the diversity and depth of storytelling in Indian cinema. The event will enable connections, collaborations, and partnerships within the industry and the screenwriting community. It will also serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, creative insights, and an opportunity for aspiring screenwriters to engage with established talents.

निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली की हॉरर सीरीज एक अधूरी कहानी की शूटिंग मुम्बई के विभिन्न लोकेशन्स में की जा रही है। यह 52 एपिसोड की सीरीज है जिसकी कहानी हॉरर और थ्रिलर का संगम है। निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली ने बताया कि यह सीरीज एक रियल घटना से प्रेरित है जिसका नाम है “एक अधूरी कहानी”।

तेजी से बन रही इस सीरीज को लेकर बी एस अली बेहद उत्साहित हैं। सीरीज को जल्द एक बड़े ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म पर रिलीज़ करने का प्लान है। उन्होंने कहा कि एक अधूरी कहानी दर्शको को बांध कर रखेगी और उन्हें कुछ सोचने पर भी मजबूर करेगी।

इससे पहले फिल्म “लव स्टोरी” प्रोड्युस कर चुके निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली ने कहा कि हॉरर होने के बावजूद सीरीज में एंटरटेनमेंट का भी बड़ा स्कोप है और सीरीज में कई चीजे हैं।

निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली ने यहां आगे बताया कि यह सीरीज बडी मेहनत और शिद्दत से बनाया है। इस सीरीज के आगे के एपिसोड्स की कास्टिंग जारी है।

Jamnagar – Dwarka Saansad Khel Mahotsav-2024 – Bollywood Actress Disha Patani Attends Khel Mahotsav In Jamnagar; Okhamandal Dwarkesh XI Wins Final Match

The Jamnagar Devbhoomi Dwarka MP Khel Mahotsav 2024, which was launched with the spirit of ‘Khele Te Kheele’, concluded with a grand closing ceremony at the Pradarshan Ground in Jamnagar city on Saturday night. The Jamnagar-Devbhoomi Dwarka Saansad Khel Mahotsav 2024 received a wide response from the people, embodying the Khelo India and Fit India resolution of the Prime Minister of India Narendrabhai Modi.

At the grand closing ceremony, a cultural event was held in the presence of famous folk singer Jigardan Gadhvi and RJ Devang. Apart from this, famous Bollywood actress Disha Patani was also present as the Chief Guest in this ceremony. During this closing ceremony, the final cricket match of the Khel Mohotsav was also played between Okha Mandal Dwarkesh XI and Ram XI Gadu teams. The match remained exciting till the last ball and finally Okha Mandal Dwarkesh XI from Devbhoomi Dwarka district got a thrilling victory. MP Poonamben Maadam’s initiative Saansad Khel Mahotsav-2024 received huge response from the people of Jamnagar Lok Sabha Constituency.

The winning team and runners-up were awarded trophies and the winning players were felicitated with certificates and trophies by MP Poonamben Maadam. Apart from this, spectacular firework display and colourful cultural program was also organized to increase the enthusiasm entertain the people of Jamnagar. As many as 82,000 players of various age groups enthusiastically participated in the Saansad Khel Mahotsav-2024 and a record breaking 382 teams participated.

Along with sports like kabaddi, athletics, kho-kho, volleyball, traditional sports like tug of war, sack race, lemon spoon race, music chair were also included in this festival. In this sports festival, competitions were organized at village level, school level, taluka level, zonal level and Lok Sabha level.

Vishwa Hindi Akademy Organised International Women’s Day Successfully In Mumbai

विश्व महिला दिवस पर सम्मान समारोह 

मुम्बई । 8 मार्च, अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर विश्व हिन्दी अकादमी और मालवा रंगमंच समिति के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में एक भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन अंधेरी पश्चिम स्थिति मुक्ति सभागार में किया गया। दीप प्रज्वलन और केशव राय द्वारा महाकाल चालीसा के पाठ से कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ हुआ और कुलवंत बक्शीश के निर्देशन में नाटक ‘कर्ण’ का मंचन किया गया। इस नाटक के सभी पात्र तीन महिलाओं ने निभाया और दर्शकों का दिल जीत लिया।

इसके पश्चात  शिवरात्रि और महिला दिवस के अवसर पर कई विद्वानों के वक्तव्य हुए। कवि सम्मलेन मुशायरे के अंतर्गत आशकरन अटल, प्रज्ञा शर्मा, परवेज़ आलम,  मनीषा उपाध्याय, संजय गुप्ता आदि के  काव्यपाठ हुए और रेखा खान, नीतू सिंह, अजीत राय, सुनील तिवारी, राजेश राठी आदि ने फिल्मो में महिलाओं के किरदार पर विशेष चर्चा की।।कार्यक्रम का संचालन केशव राय ने किया।

इस अवसर पर विश्व हिन्दी अकादमी और मालवा रंगमंच समिति द्वारा महिला गरिमा सम्मान से विनीता जोशी, नाॅयरिका भतेजा, खुशाली हिरानी,  पूजाश्री, गीता यादव, मनीषा उपाध्याय, केतकी पंडित, कायनात खान, आनंदी त्रिपाठी, एकता जैन, रूपाली सिसोदिया, अनाया ब्रह्म, रेखा चौधरी, पुष्पा वर्मा, दिव्या सहगल, श्वेता दुआ, मोनिका जैन, कल्पना तिवारी, प्रज्ञा शर्मा, खुशी ठक्कर, मीनू सिंह, नीतू सिंह और रेखा खान को उनके उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। संध्या राय के संयोजन में सम्पन्न इस कार्यक्रम का संचालन केशव राय ने किया। इसी कार्यक्रम में फिल्मकार कुमार राज की महिला प्रधान फिल्म “अमीना” का पोस्टर भी लांच किया गया। अंत में इरफ़ान श्रीवास्तव ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया।
